Course Description
The UEE22011 Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) course is designed to provide participants with an introduction to the electrical and electronics industries. Completing this qualification can provide the skills and knowledge to transition into an apprenticeship in the Electrotechnology industry.
The course is primarily delivered online providing participants with a range of benefits including the opportunity to learn at their own pace and flexibility to study out of hours. Practical activities and assessments will be undertaken at the PEER trade training centre at a time arranged with trainers.

Course Requirements
All applicants are required to undertake a literacy and numeracy pre-selection test administered by PEER. Successful applicants will then be invited to attend an interview at PEER, where your suitability for course enrolment will be assessed.
When attending practical assessments, participants will be required to provide their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including fully enclosed safety boots/shoes, safety glasses, long pants and long-sleeved shirt.
Course Outcomes
Participants who meet all the requirements of the course will be awarded with a qualification in UEE22011 Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start). If not all units of competency are completed, the participant will be issued with a statement of attainment.
