Regional Induction LLN

Course Description

Thank you for choosing PEER as your training provider to commence your trade journey.

It is essential Apprentice attends an Induction to provide mandatory PEER, and other governing information, process enrolment documentation and undertake Upfront Assessment of Needs (UAN) process (CSPA assessment).

PEER recognises you may opt to complete the Remote Regional Induction, due to working outside a reasonable travel distance (location) to PEER. Reference: UAN Guidelines v2-July 2022 Item 2.4 exemptions and modifications.

Register/Enrol your details. On completion of enrolment you will be issued with the following documents to read: 

• PEER Student Handbook
• UAN Factsheet on the CSPA

You will be then be issued with a DocuSign Pack that will include relevant information that you need to complete and sign. 

The Parent/guardian and/or school principal signatures may all be required (where applicable).

Item 6.4.4.1 Mobile phone policy - summary

Individuals are NOT permitted to have a mobile phone on their person when undertaking any of the CSPA assessments; the CSPA tool provides an in-built calculator.

Item 6.4.4.2 Supervision of CPSA assessments - summary

It is the responsibility of PEER to ensure that individuals undertaking either the SRNI or LaNCA are supervised, this said, virtual supervision of an Agent (3rd Party Supervisor) is permissible if it meets the Department’s stated requirements.

PEER may conduct live online assessment sessions for individuals with genuine barriers, (i.e. individual living outside a reasonable travel distance, impacting significant burden) to attend in person, however the appointed Supervisor must always remain present and maintain visibility of the individual and have methods of ensuring that other web sites or web pages are not open whilst the individual completes the assessment in its entirety.

Item 6.4.4.3 Responding to plagiarism- summary.

PEER will refer to their internal policies to determine what action will take in relation to any incidence of suspected or proven plagiarism during any CSPA assessments; Agents will discuss any concerns regarding plagiarism directly with PEER.
