BHP Apprentice Registration with PEER

Course Description

Complete this registration if you are currently an MEGT employed apprentice, hosted with BHP, and you would like to transfer to PEER. 

Please read the information below fully before completing the form.

Information Release Permission & Privacy

By completing this registration you agree to allow MEGT to provide PEER with your personal details and information relevant to the transfer of your contract of training from MEGT to PEER. This information may include:

• Employment history, rates of pay and rotations
• Work health and safety information
• Information on trade school and education including call up notices.

All information will be treated as strictly confidential and managed inline with PEERs Privacy Policy

To help with the process you’ll need your UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER (USI)

If you don’t know your USI find it here: https://www.usi.gov.au/students/find-your-usi

Record it somewhere as you’ll need to enter it in the form.

When registering enter the following responses under the below sections:

• Employment Status response = Full time Employee
• Reason for Study response = It was a requirement of my job
• How did you hear about PEER response = employer

Sharing your Training Records

So we can see your current learning journey we would like you to share your ‘Academic Transcript’ with us. Contact your training provider and get them to send you a copy. Once you have a copy send it to davidg@peer.com.au. (For privacy reasons we cannot get a copy for you).

Once you have registered you will receive an email invitation to login in to the PEER learning management system and read though PEERs policies.

You will then receive an email from Astute Payroll to set up the payroll app where you will complete your timesheets, leave applications etc.
